Is this good ammo? I've read some bad reviews on it here and there, but the price sure is appealing!

Its not match....nowhere near and steel case none reloadable but it functions just fine in my rifle. Some ARs have problems with steel case. Some people have perceived problems with steel case.

Buy it, try it. In todays market if you dont like it there will be someone to gladly take it of your hands.

Got my confirmation email that the product is backordered until the end of May at least.

Make sure you check with your range. The 3 I frequent don't allow steel or aluminum cased ammo. (I've used the steel case and haven't had any problem but living in a metro area, I'm stuck with ranges most of the time, but if you live somewhere rural where you can shoot out the back door (or somewhere close) go for it, you can't beat the price. I bought some at WalMart a couple of months ago for 5.99 a box (20)

Yep, in stock today, but I think I'll pass. After yesterday and reading some reviews, I'm going to try and find more brass ammo.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's basically repackaged TulAmmo...

Bought some in the .308 flavor and it has stamps for TulAmmo on it. Shoots fairly nicely as well.

I have some of this in .223 coming as well.

tried to order some. It says in stock and then it will not let you! Wonder Why I hate cabelas!

I ordered 5 boxes of it this morning, but the more I read about problems some people have with the steel jacket expanding and getting stuck, I think this ammo will go into a box and not used. I tried to cancel the order tonight but Cabelas said it was too late and already shipped, yet it won't get here until the 22nd.

I shot plenty of this ammo. Not one problem. Picked up some more myself. Cabelas had PMC Bronze in store for $9.99. Picked up 5 boxes of them too.

I've shot a lot of the steel cased ammo as well (tul) The only problem I have is that I can't use it at the ranges near me. (their policy)

I picked up some tul last night at the local wally world. Hope it works good in my new sport.

well like I said, I put 100 rounds of this stuff through my new riffle the second time I went out shooting with it and didn't have a single problem... everyone's situation and riffle conditions could be different. I personally have only been able to shoot at a 50 yard indoor range so far, so this cheap ammo is perfect for allowing me to get my experience up while not wasting my stock of 5.56.

From what I have read, most agree it's very dirty ammunition. I can live with that as I clean after every use. Others have stated that the steel wears heavy on the extractor. I'm sure a few rounds won't hurt the M&P, but I think I will just put brass in it.

It must be bouncing in and out of supply because I keep getting an 'out of stock' message.
