can a 15-22 cycle 22lr subsonic rounds?

New member here....

Mine has the upgraded blue springs and has so far reliably cycled Remington subs, CCI subs, and Aguila super extra 38 grain subs without any issues. The Aguila's are super quiet running my Form1 suppressor.

aguilla .
sub sonic 60 grain bullets and works just fine
Sorry to say but Aguila 60g SS will keyhole in any rifle that does not have a much faster twist rate. To shoot these accurately you need a barrel with a 1 in 9 twist instead of the standard 1 in 16 twist of just about every .22LR rifle out there.
Same issue with ARs. If you shoot the heavier match bullets you need a 1 in 8 twist to shoot up to 69g and a 1 in 7 to shoot 77g.
Heavier bullets will not stabilize without spinning faster.

Has anyone tried the Norma USA TAC-22 22 LR 40 Grain LRN Subsonic in their 15/22 yet and if so what did you think about them?

Mine eats Remington Sub Sonic like a toddler with Skittles.

It is my favorite round to shoot. I have the blue springs. I have also used a brand called Swartklip (now defunct) 's sub sonic, as well as SOBOL sub sonic. I wouldn't suggest the SOBOL, it is dirty dirty ammo with way too much lube on it.

I have recently bought some Winchester sub sonic. I have not tried it yet. I bought it sight unseen and thought it was Remington.

HI, I shoot pretty much exclusively with Winchester Hollow Point Subs and with Suppressor. Straight out the box put 300 through and was to say the least concerned as I had read all sorts of stories about FTF FTE etc etc. NOT a single issue. have tried some "regular and Hi Velocity" and had some fail to fully cock hammer (2) other than that it eats what its fed.
