The main reason I do NOT own a safe with an electronic lock is, I've seen too many videos of people opening them with a large (hockey puck) magnet. The pin that keeps you from turning the handle while the lock is engaged, is spring loaded and retracted with a solenoid type actuator when the correct code is entered. I've seen this method work on Cannon and Sentry safe brands.
