case lube alternative

I found that deglazing with white wine and butter is good. Scrape those brown bits off pan. Stir and make a pan sauce. Doesn't look like fresh broccoli but tastes good. I use left over sauce for case lube. Working on a recipe by adding lard or bacon grease to mixture to make cast bullet lube.

Hey THAT might work!
I really hated those skillet squibs...:mad::mad:

I was going to comment on Hornady TiN sizing dies, but I guess the thread has run its course and has devolved into wisecracks. I am a wise cracker, in both senses of the word, but it seems out of place here. Mais, ça, c'est la vie, eh, chers?

At one time I used "one shot" but it's costly when doing large numbers of cases. Now I just make my own using a 10 to 1 ratio of 95% alcohol and pure liquid lanolin. Put the mix in a small spray bottle use a agitator of some sort (I use a marble) put the cases in a container spray and let the alcohol evaporate.
This is what I use for my 223/556 rifle cases. Works great.
The "container" I use to apply the lube is a 1 gallon ziplock bag.
Put a couple of hundred cases in the bag, it it with a few spritzes from the spray bottle, roll 'em around a little then dump 'em out & let the alcohol evaporate.
