CC with shirt tucked in.....any suggestions?

Where I work I always where a Polo type shirt with slacks. So the shirt is always tucked in. Usually I keep my firearm in my work bag that is close to me, but I wouldnt mind having it on my at all times. Other then just carrying it in my pocket does anyone have any ideas? The gun I would assume would always be under my shirt tucked in, but how would that work? Always wondered. My current carry gun is kel-tec PF9, but since my recent P&R 629, I have fallen in love with the S&W's and wouldnt mind finding another to use as my ccw. Thanks guys/gals!

I NEVER wear untucked shirts at work, and usually wear polo shirts.

I carry a variety of guns, always in a Don Hume 715M IWB. I tuck my shirt in up to where the holster is, then tuck the shirt tail underneath where the gun is. This leaves the gun very unobtrusive, even for large guns like an M1911 or 3" S&W Model 65. The 715M isn't designed to be "tuckable", but it's surprisingly so.

As an alternative, there are a number of "tuckable" IWBs designed to have the shirt tucked in front of them, between the holster and the pants. The "Super Tuck" is just one of them.

My solution works reasonably well and is also significantly cheaper than most purpose designed tuckable holsters.

Comp-Tac's CTAC is the only tuckable holster I have tried that works as advertised.

In my experience, anything thicker than a J frame will leave a noticeable bulge on your waist when the shirt is tucked behind the gun. I consider tucked shirt CCW to be practical only with very slim autoloaders and J frames.

There's a number of options other than pocket carry. Aside from those already mentioned, you could use a Kramer holster shirt, TRUSS system, or ankle holster. You could even wear an NAA Mini on a cord around your neck.

I am not a fan of off body carry for a lot of reasons, and have found that with a good pocket holster, that mode of carry has worked well for me. I did it a little with a J frame (had to sell it recently for money), and do it a LOT with a mini-glock. I have a Kramer Leather pocket holster for that gun. I MAY consider getting one for my 296.

I just got mine this weekend, and a Glock 26 virtually disappears when tucked in. With an untucked shirt, no printing at all. The video on their website mirrors my experience with wearing it.

I have used Pager Pal with a phone case and recently went over to a pocket holster. I think its important that you have a pistol that you are comfortable with and that can be easily hidden/drawn-My wife is OK with a M36. I use M1903/8 Colts and a M51 Remington. I can draw from my pocket in a fluid-smooth motion without lifting up anything, such as a shirt tail.

I also have a CrossBreed but the QuickClip model and it's great IMO. I have a bit of a belly so tucking and getting everything situated is a bit more difficult than it is for a more svelte individual. Once I do though the holster is just fine, concealment and accessibility are both good. CrossBreed will also let you try it and if you don't like it or can't make it work they will take it back.
