This issue has been visited a number of times ln the past and the genersl consenses has 100% opposed to the idea for obvious reasons.

On the forums yes it always seems to 100% against. But I see these being advertised a lot. It has to be more then just a few people that are buying them or else the money wouldn't be spent to produce them or on the advertising!!

Beat me to it...that was the first thing I thought of! Might as well get a hat that says "FBI" and a shirt that says "SWAT"...that should be enough to scare anybody away and keep you safe.

Here ya go....no need to wait. The NRA one isn't really an Official badge, but the Cheaper than Dirt ones look pretty good. Wonder if they are strong enough to stop a bullet?? Check out the nifty holster.....

I too have commented on this before. But I have to ask, what purpose do they serve? Why would a normal person look at one of those and say "boy I need one of those for blank"? What is the reason one would buy one of these?

I quit carrying a badge when I left LE. No CCW badge for me. I think people that carry them are very ill informed at best. I say that because I know a few people that carry them just because the guy that taught their CCW class told them it was a good idea.

Same here Feral, This is the first i've heard of these things.
Like i said before, if some guy wants to wear one and gets
shot because of it, so be it. Thinning of the herd so to speak.
