Hi:
Viewed a 1968 Charles Bronson Movie "Farewell, Friend" on Youtube.
In the first 30 minutes Charles mistreats a Smith and Wesson .45 Revolver (Model 1917 ?) several times by one-hand flipping the cylinder out and in of battery--SHAME on you, Charley !

I knew this was done in older movies--but 1968 and by Charles Bronson ?

I think that this is still done commonly on TV shows, at least the few that still feature revolvers. Sadly, too many people think that what they see in movies and on TV is real.
