Anyone have any info on the CS9? I have seen a couple of pictures but have no data to look at. How does it compare to the 3913? I understand the price is higher but what are the differences if any?

I love my CS9. Have you tried the "Search" function? There have been numerous threads about the pistol. I think you would find them very useful.
Best regards,
Gonzo

If I run across a CS9 at a reasonable price, it's coming home with me.

I have the CS9 and CS45 and think they are great guns, accurate (given the short barrel), cycle all brands of ammo well, and hold up. The only rational criticism that I have heard is that they are thicker than their competitors, but IMHO that comes from being well made.

So Erich, did you buy it?
The CS9 is very well liked by those that own one. Some people like/need to replace the grips, though.

Hey Cisco.I love my CS9.The first thing I did to it was to take off the hogue rubber grips. They are bulky and worse yet tend to print the gun when carried in stong side hip fashion.I changed them to the custom Delrin Grips that Big Dog makes. They signifcantly slim out its profile.I next added night sights because I feel that any semi-auto has to have them if it is being used as a primary carry and home defense gun.Finnaly it is with the Smith and Wesson gunsmiths for a DAO conversion.I have been a double action revolver shooter for over 15 years and I had a tendency to pull the first shot in the conversion from DA to SA modes. I holstered my gun once in SA with the safety off inadvertently and that was enough for me to make it consistent with my revolvers, same trigger pull with each shot,no decocker, and the safety being me.I will bring up the thread I did on the creation of the CS9 Delrin grips so you can see the difference they make. The CS9 is a single stack 9mm with a 7 round magazine and 1 in chamber. The first shot is in Double action and the rest are single action. It comes with the lo mount Novak sights and the nasty hogue grips. It is very nice shooting, highly concealable, and I was glad I picked it as my first semi auto. Here is the thread on the Delrin Grips. http://smith-wessonforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/5201039...921060513#9921060513 God Bless..Mike

Don't have the CS9 but do have the CS45 and would not part with it. Very well made, under appreciated (and often unheard of) line of guns.

JMOfartO:

I have both the LS and CS9 and I prefer the CS9. I'm lucky in that the original grips fit my hand perfectly, and the slightly smaller CS9 just "seems" right for me.

Either pistol would be a great choice.
