Clint Eastwood and newest score.

I don't have any from that movie---yet, but it is on my long list of "to gets."

Im a big fan of John Russell as well, and if I recall? I think he was in Pale Rider?? I know he was in Josey Wales.

The actor now working who is closest to Eastwood might be Tom Selleck as the police commissioner on, "Blue Bloods."

He also plays police chief Jesse Stone in a small MA town, based on Robert B. Parker's novels. Those are TV movies, also released on DVD. I've read the books and don't like the TV versions. Most characters are too old and the settings are depressing.

The lead state cop on the new, "Hawaii Five-O" is also sort of "Eastwoody". But he lacks Eastwood's "presence" and style.

Really, there are few modern actors who have the masculinity and style of those of a few decades ago. Daniel Craig can play a hard man, but he's no Sean Connery. I miss Charlton Heston, too.

The ringtone on my cellphone is the theme from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". It is one if the few things that I can hear when I am on one side of the house and the phone is on the other side of the house.

For all you Clint Eastwood fans, in case you don't already know, AMC is running a Clint marathon from 11:15 till 9:00 pm today followed by Hell on Wheels... YEHAWW!!!
( That'd be eastern time pardner )

You gonna pull them pistols ? or stand there and whistle dixie .

My favorite line from the movie. I think with slight correction--it's: "Are You Going To Pull Those Pistols...Or Whistle Dixie?" If not? makes for a great quote for a T-Shirt. :D

Great line, he already KNEW what he was going to do, they just then realized.... Too late

One wish I have is that if ever considered? I do not want to see a remake of the movie--nobody can do Clint better than Clint. :D

I had forgotten about "A Bridge To Far" Talk about a movie with a lot of real actors.....Well known actors, some even reached leading man status that didn't mind playing a small but powerful part....Daniel Craig might be one of the few that can reach that status....Just my opinion! Selleck sure has payed his dues. Funny I still rememvber that ring he wore..i think it is called A Lorainne Cross on a simple gold ring.I never quite got the meaning of the cross in the TV series Magnum PI series but it must of had a special meaning..

What? Nobody likes Coogan's Bluff, Unforgiven, White Hunter, Any which way but loose ??
