Commercials that turn you off from buying what they're selling

That's enough, quit chucking
My wood!

Those are priceless. I love it when they are chucking the wood in the pond on their own and one of them makes a really good throw. When it hits the water they both go "OOOOOHHHH!!!" like kids when they get a great splash. It's bang on.:D

Oh, and when they break the mood in the fake coffee ad, ROFLMAO!!!

One I remember when we had a couple of Quiznos places here.

Singing rats, a sure fire guarantee to pack in the customers. LOL

Willie Joe Namath pitching the wonderful free **** that his sponsor is offering to include meal delivery free, free in house nurses, dental, and hearing aids, etc all at no additional cost to the medicare user BS
He wants to get what he deserves, like he needs it. [emoji46]

Any car commercial talking about it's in their "genes" or "DNA" (?).

Plants have DNA, animals have DNA, Bacteria have DNA, Molds and fungi have DNA even most viruses have DNA. Cars DO NOT!

Almost as bad as people asking for "born on dates" for their firearm.:rolleyes: I didn't know guns were "born". Are some of them done by Cesarian?

How about the tag line in the Mercedes commercials?
"The best - or nothing"
Yeah, right, like if I can't afford a Mercedes I'm going to walk or take the bus?

an oldie but a goodie

Cathy Rigby was undoubtedly the bravest woman to push a product. I just Googled her, expecting to read she bled out years ago; however, she is alive and kicking and pushing seventy years old. She can truly wear white with confidence now.

Stay Free, Cathy.

This one use to play on the radio too. One night while working 3rd shift it was the last thing I heard before going into work.

That song was stuck in my head all night!

Mine were the Wrigley's gum commercials from the 1960's and 70's.

People walking around with gigantic packages of spearmint gum with a song in the background "Carry the big fresh flavor, wherever you go, whatever you do..."

And even worse "It's a great, great...day, day...for double good, Doublemint gum"

I suppose you would say they were "great commercials" because I still remember them 50 years later. But...I have never, ever bought a Wrigley's product since then, they turned me off so bad.

I intensely dislike commercials with mean and or stupid people. Dislike commercials with people talking with foreign accents.

Just saw another one.
The Cricket cell phone commercials where all the fuzzballs are saying
"HI-yeeee"
and
"Bye-yeeee"
Makes me want to throw something at the TV....
