Anyone have any luck carrying there Sigma? I live in Texas so heavy clothes is not an option in the summer. Curious if anybody has found a good way to carry it and still keeping it concealed.

It is hard to conceal, it is a big gun.

I found this best position for concealment was appendix carry.
I have a small universal holster that will fit my 9VE & clip the waist band.
That being said, it is not to easy to sit comfortably.
A little adjustment makes sitting possible, not comfortable.

The Texas heat does not help this situation either!!
Best of luck!

I use a cheap Barsony cordura nylon IWB holster placed between 2:00 and 4:00 that I use most of the time. Lightweight and thin, it even clips in my shorts when I'm working around outside. It can also clip it in the back pocket of my jeans when I need to be able to take it on and off easily or often. A shirt with a long tail usually covers it fine. OWB holsters like my Fobus paddle holster are more comfortable to me, but conceal poorly.

Welcome to the board TBJK.
I carry a Sigma on the boat in a inside the pants Kydex holster using a single belt hook. Worn in the 3 to 4 oclock position it is concealed very well. I am in Florida so shorts and t shirt are everyday wear. The single hook design will allow easy movement when sitting and driving. I carry about 12 to 14 hours a day for work purposes.
The Kydex holster is good for reholstering but the gore-tex material is softer and not as abrassive.
Use gray or darker colored t shirts as they do not print as much as the white ones.
A cheaper holster are the soft inside the pants type like the Uncle Mikes size 15. I will post pics later.
Not the most comfortable but after a while you will get used to it.

A Crossbreed SuperTuck works pretty good, especially if you adjust it for maximum forward cant putting the heel of the grip next to your side around 3:30. Pretty comfortable too. IMHO 3:00 tends to print more, >4:00 is less comfortable.

Advice about wearing darker colors and/or something with pattern is good too.

About 1 o'clock in a homemade kydex works good for me. I wear it with elastic waist shorts (standard old man uniform in Florida) by putting it inside my jockey shorts. The support from the jockey shorts and elastic waist shorts clipped over both keeps it firmly in place. Try it, y'all will be suprised how good it carries that way.

I use a Don Hume 721OT. It holds the weapon in close making it easier to conceal. I wear it at the 2:30 postion. The weather is hot here also. But a large shirt works well. I wear shirts that have a print or pattern on them. It helps break up any outline of the weapon.

Before I got my 1911 I carried my 40ve in a High Noon IWB holster and never had a problem concealing it. I have never found it any harder to conceal a gun in the summer, a coat makes concealing in winter easier but I don't wear a coat 24/7 even during the coldest days. Shorts are the biggest difference in my dress between winter and summer and I have found no difference in the abilty to conceal a gun with either.

I have a high noon holsters mr. Softy iwb holster that I wear at about 3:30. It conceals pretty good. I have noticed that when I get out of the car or bend down to pick something up my shirt will come up over the handle

++CrossBreed SuperTuck

I carry everyday/everywhere 3:30 FBI cant and I forget it is even there!

Thanks for the input, I have been trying to think of the best way to carry (not very successfully). I have tried inside the pocket, around the outside & inside of my boot. I am going to get my CHL before I carry so I have some time to think about it.

I wear a tucked-in ashirt and jeans, not much of a shorts guy. I carry in a cheap nylon IWB holster either 2:00 or SOB. I have a couple pairs of jeans that are a size large, and some tshirts two sizes too big (mainly for the length) as I am 6'4" but don't qualify for the "Big" part of Big & Tall, so getting a decent length shirt can be a problem sometimes. Prints help... a loud Hawaiian shirt will hide about anything!

I use a Lobo Gun Leather IBW holster when I carry my Sigma. Check out my avatar for a picture. Works pretty good!!!

Later...

Saw an ad today for Magills where they are offering if you buy a concealment T-shirt at $69.95, you get a belly band for free. Don't know how it will fit a Sigma but I think I'm gonna check it out. It's not gonna be the greatest set-up for quick access but it looks like it will do well in the concealment catagory
Concealed carry holsters, clothing, purses, CCW holsters & products

Not a bad deal if that setup works for you. Be sure to watch the demo video. Had to watch it twice because I forgot what I was supposed to be looking for the first time around! :D

Did you watch the womens compression shorts as well :D ....May have to get one for the Wife now

I carry it sometimes when I go someplace where I might need the high capacity magazine..I carry it on my right hip using a military web belt...Not the ammo style but the dress pants style. I slip it in the belt and it stays nicely and with a hawaiian shirt is not visible. I also live in Tex. I sometimes carry it in the back pocket of my jeans and a baggy shirt covers it but sitting is not real nice. It fits well in the pocket of cargo shorts without too much shillouette, but as others say, mostly home defense.....but anything can be concealed...
