Cover garments for OWB

640 in a Galco Stinger OWB. I usually wear a nice sport logo sweat shirt or a hoody around town. If I am going out somewhere nice I put on a cotton sweater over a collared shirt. I buy them 1 size larger than I usually wear and they cover up 640 real well. I always wear Perry suspenders hooked to a good wide belt to keep gun supported.

Summertime, I have to switch to 642 in pocket holster.

You might want to try Zahal - an Israeli company that sells the short sleeved vest/shirt that their secret service wear. They are very comfortable and do a great job of concealing - even my 1911.

I usually carry in front pocket of pants, with a cloth type pocket holster. Usually wear dockers type pleated pants. Clothing makes the man and may print the gun, so lose but not unusual will work. Like one post said, fanny packs and safari vest scream gun and in part because, only a few of us will wear them, so we stand out! To conceal is to blend in with the rest. I tend to dress a nice casual or office casual, which is required for work, but in warm TN, it has become common. It is difficult to wear a belt gun or shoulder holster, for few even wear sport coats and ties anymore. Even at church, we are casual on a Sunday morning. My front pocket is a primary carry spot with a reload in another pocket. When I was a cop in 70's, in my small town,I did not worry if someone saw a print of my revolver, but these days, out of sight is best defense with good thinking. I don't go to the crime ridden parts of town or to drinking establishments, so basically, work, grocery store, etc and do most of the going during daylight hours. Proper mental planning is my best weapon of defense for the liberals that want to blame me if I become a victim. I just try to out smart the crooks and keep my "little friend" handy.

I carry a full sized hi-cap 9mm IWB with an oversived "T" shirt. It prints a little and I'm sure a LEO or may be even another CCW would pick it up in a heartbeat but so what. It's concealed and legal and the thugs and sheeple are not exactly bright enough to realize it's not a cell phone or even notice anything. You'll get used to it and realize everybody isn't checking you out.

As KKG said, I use the Cabella's vest or a Filson wool liner/vest, some times a light jacket. This works well in Western WA where I work. At 6' @295# they conseal my Kimber Tactical Pro II or 3" 629. At home in Ellensburg that works also for summer, winter anything goes.

Untucked Dickies short sleeve shirt , pocket are handy for holding my wallet and cellphone . In the summer I finally said screw it and open carry .

Try Lands End for men's shirts in tall sizes. They also have very nice blazers too that don't look like the typical run-of-the-mill junk you get at Penny's.

If I'm carrying OWB and I don't want to wear a jacket, I'll wear a Lands End polo shirt with the tails out.

RobO may have successfully concealed his N-frame from most people, buth the dog has got his number!
