The local pawnshop has a very slightly used cs45 for $425.00. Seems like a good deal, no box or extra mag. Is this a good pistol and is the price right?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, a very good pistol and, if it was around here, a good price.

here in mass that would be about average at the local gun store

I disagree 1jimmy, I have never seen one in a shop here in Mass. Although I do own one bought through private party for more than $425.

425 is a good price.BUY IT NOW.You can get extra factory mags @ Midway for less than you can @ S+W.People are rediscovering the CS line of pistols and the supply of good used ones are drying out rapidly and the prices are going up.

Price is good; a little less than the one I saw in Boise three weeks ago. I thought hard about it, but it was just too small for my hand. Couldn't get a comfortable grip on it. It feels a lot smaller than my 457. It may not actually BE that much smaller, but it sure felt like it was.

With the money you will save by buying it at that price, you can order a set of "Big Dog" grips for it ;)

At $425 I'd hit it like a heat seeking missile. Just finding one is getting hard. And, if you decide to carry it, Big Dogs would be icing on the cake.

great little 45 , however new mags from factory or midway have issues with reliabity. im trying to sort out the wrong spring in new mag with smith and wesson

Lots of good info, thanks. I finally applied for and received my conceal carry, mostly so I don't need purchase permits to buy handguns just the conceal carry. I liked the size and feel plus, color me stubborn, I like the .45ACP. I have two .40's but I still like the big bore. Tomorrow morning I'm calling up the shop and have him hold it until I get back to town in the evening with cash.
Once again, thank you.

Just picked it up from the dealer, $440 out the door. Sorry, no pics, camera crapped out. I'll shoot it Thursday am.

Good for you. I bought mine NIB about six months ago, but had to pay almost $600 with shipping.

My neighborhood gun shop had a CS45 on its shelf for the past couple of months. Showed some carry wear but little firing wear.
I noticed they had no used or new .22 LR pistols, so I brought in my nearly NIB Ruger 22/45 with 3 mags and left with the CS45 for $225 out the door:D Can't wait to shoot it.
