What is everyone's favorite CC Holster for the CS9. I am not a very big guy and tend to carry on the hip not in back. I have swaps out the grips for "big Dog" to avoid the rubber grips grabbing clothing.

I use a Gould & Goodrich Yaqui belt slide, myself. I already had one for my Stoeger....and found that it also fit my CS9 perfectly. In fact, the CS9 works better in this holster, because having a shorter muzzle, it doesn't stick out as far below....so the muzzle doesn't get in the way (or dig into my leg) when I sit down.

I've been really pleased by the Mitch Rosen "Express Line" holster they made for my CS 9. Nice workmanship and not too long of a wait, either.

+1 on the Yaqui style holster. I use a Don Hume model 30 that I bought for a Sig 228 and it fits perfectly. I also have a Crossbreed that pulls the gun in tight against my side ... so tight that getting a grip to draw is uncomfortable. The leather sweat guard can be cut away to improve the grip - I haven't decided whether I want to do that.

I bought a holster from Lobo Gun Leather a few years ago. It looks like the Mitch Rosen holster, pictured above, with a thumb break added. Quite a nice holster and a great value, plus he is a vendor on this site. Matching mag carrier, too.

Mernickle holsters will make one for your CS9. I had one made for my CS45. They have several styles and do great work.

I have enough holsters in the closet to start a small shop. This was the hardest thing to find for conceal carry. There is a lot of **** holsters out there that do not do the job.

Leather is often too thick for comfortable IWB carry. There are many that do not stay in place resulting in the need to always fidgit with the firearm/holster which is not a good thing.

I finally got a Maxtuck holster from white hat holsters. This is comfortable and secure. I never have to mess with it even when transitioning from sitting to standing (and visa versa) or when getting in or out of a car.

The best part is the interchangable kydex (or whatever) part od the holster. You can get this for whatever handguns you have and swap this part out. 1 holster for every handgun you have at a very reasonable price.

This will look too big and awkward when you see it, but once you wear it and break it in to your body - you will never even know its there.

DeSantis Cozy Partner

DeSantis Cozy Partner IWB for my CS-40 in 10MM (CS-10) and CS-45.
It is for the M&P Compact, there is one that fits the CS-9 also, I don't have the X-reference.
