Curious: Why not sell to anti-2A states?

One must recall that this is an open forum and search results could provide a lot of stuff that others should not know. I prefer to be as low profile as possible. I do not have a conventional social media presence (no FB, X, Insta, or any of that stuff): I truly believe that no one in LE should have such except to check in on family if that is how they have to. I don't use a street address unless mandatory (DL, etc.). In general, I do not dress like a lawyer; I don't have bumper stickers on my car, etc.

Being as "gray" as possible is an important interest to me. As for "Fudds", I first saw that term used by furious members of a couple of hard core forums with regard to the hunting writer who stupidly critiqued AR platforms and the owners in 2008 or so.

Many moons ago I bought an 870 from a fellow. He got in a bit of drug trouble...His mother bought the gun for him. it was the last or next to last gun I sold before I dropped my FFL. 10 years later she reported the gun stolen when her kid said I had bought it. The police in Md called me here in Wyoming...telling me I had a reported stolen gun. I still have copies of my bound books. I told the police the date it was sold but not to whom. They passed the checks and it was gone. His mother wanted her gun back...I told the police to let her know she had bought a gun and gave it to a restricted person...Straw buyer?! The police said thank you and it was the last I heard about the gun. BTW The gun was not originally bought from me...

Thee is so much stuff we don't really know about laws and the police presence. That is why I was somewhat paranoid and kept a copy of my Bound books

I see a couple of sellers who won't ship to Oregon. None of the items are banned in this state. I think some guys do it just out of anger at some states because of their gun laws. I figure, if someone doesn't want to sell to me that's fine. I'm sure I'll find someone who will.
