When this topic appears I (almost) always state change is the only constant... and where I am sitting it was once under a mile of ice and was also the bottom of a tropical sea and was referred to as the great American desert too... it is currently 6 below zero outside... and will probably hit 100 degrees within the next 6 months... now that is climate change... was once referred to as seasonal change... I will stick with the usual follow the money when the "something has to be done" phrase come around... guard your wallet.

The earth has been warmer in the past and it has been colder. That is climate fact. If you choose to believe the current nonsense go right ahead. .

The weather has been weird for sure. The thing I don't understand is that climate change or whatever you choose to call it, happens at a glacial pace over thousands of years. The last 30 years or so, it has become confounded with an event that is supposed to happen in a person's life span. Some folks have predicted extinction by the end of this decade. I am far more worried of such people because unlike us, they are in positions of power.
The weather is weird and the world (not the weather) has become unfamiliar to me. I wish we could just live our lives in peace.
But as a man once said, "that's ok, I still have my guitar" To that I'll add, "and a few revolvers".

Folks, you know how we view hoplophobes who argue that somehow or other, guns are responsible for violence, and who try to ignore the human element in crime because it doesn’t suit their agenda? Well, that’s exactly how legitimate scientists who have studied climate change view those who argue that human beings aren’t responsible for what’s happening to our planet.
