I bought a 686 CS-1 from DeanD that was advertised as NIB and unfired. There were enough handling marks to suggest otherwise. When I called him after I received it, he was rude and vulgar and asked me what I expected from a 20 year old gun.
Even more disturbing, he shipped the handgun without any insurance via FedEx Ground. It is against FedEx policy to ship a handgun FedEx Ground, so obviously he didn't notify the carrier of the package's contents, and Federal law requires that the carrier be notified if the shipment contains a firearm - [18 U.S.C. 921(a)(32), 922(g)(8) and 925(a)(1)](B8).
I have photographs and emails supporting this feedback. If anybody is interested in them, please contact me outside this forum.
