Please someone help. I have XS sights for my bodyguard 380. I have been unable to get the stock front sight to budge, with punch and hammer. How is this little beast assembled. Is it loctite, pinned, peened? Not marring the gun yet and don't want to. Currently soaking in liquid wrench, for one more go with the punch if I do not hear a better way. This is frustrating and now a little exspensive. Please give of this forums vast knowledge.
Thank you

Heat gun on the muzzle from below should relax the fit.

Make it too hot to touch (linger w/ the finger) then give the sight a tap.

If no joy, then immediately chill the sight by contact w/ an ice cube (inverted) then give it a tap.

If that wont let it move, you must have left a screw in it. :)

More severe thermals w/ liquid nitrogen should be left to professionals.

I assume it's like my shield, if I did not have a good vise on a solid bench I would not have been able to remove the sights. vise + medum to large hammer + punch will get it. It comes out on the ejection port side

After soaking in liquid wrench we got r done. These Xs sights really turned a gun I liked into a guni love. Shoots straight to poa and is very fast on target. My advice... get a set.
