I did for a long time. And when the state quarters came out we filled a book with them. I kept all the extras. the missus filled out a couple more books, I think shes doing one for each grandkid.
We did the lincoln pennies books from what she had and I had in a mason quart jar from my metal detecting hobby years ago.
She cataloged all the quarters and tons of pennies for more coin collector folders.
When I metal detected I had a quart mason jar 1/2 full of silver coins, when it got to 18 times face value I sold it. A couple of hundred bucks in the early 80's was a good haul, yep bought a gun.
