Are the Maine rifles different than the ones they would send to Texas? I mean I don't want to buy one with all the restrictions compliant if that what they have to do for Maine shipments. thanks.

I recieved my last Sport from Davidson's. you may want to contact them.

I used to buy from Davidson's but I gave up on them about 3 years ago because they never had anything. Of course I never tried to by an AR. Does this place still have a good reputation as far as keeping stock on hand? (I'm not judging them based on the current situation, but when things should have been good I always had to go through other dealers like Bud's, etc, they just never had anything)

We get all the bells and whistles, BUT from time to time dealers in New England will get some rifles that are Massachusetts compliant, which are different.

AR's in MA can't have an adjustable stock, no bayonet lug, no flash suppressor, and no 30-round mags.

When I last checked, the two MA compliant AR's had sold, but there were regular Sports/ORs in stock.

They'll definitely tell you what's what, though.

Just saw this posted - they have 50 in stock for $799. Not sure about the barrel twist rate, but worth checking out. They will sell fast.

They 'confirmed' that they have the 1/8 5R barrel.

Quick update about D&L order.
Looks like there is conflicting information about what is in stock.
I was told the 50 Sports are 1/8 5R and another was told they are 1/9.

Either way, I am ok with either barrel for the price (I already have a 1/8 5R Sport). Guess I'll see what arrives next week.
