If you give your dog(s) treats, what kind do you buy?
For many years we have just given good old Milk Bones and little Charlee Bears (many flavors)

Large Milk Bones, bought in the 10-pound box. Small Milk Bones go in my pocket for occasional treats while hiking. And the occasional piece of cheese.

Never any pig ears or chicken jerky stuff. Never anything from China or any place in Asia, even if I only suspect it's from those places...and nothing with ingredients from China, either. Just say no to Chinese garbage. If you're in doubt, check the labels for ingredients and origins.

Franks on sale for $1 for 8.

You might want to rethink the hot dog treats. Seriously. Dogs love them, of course, but they love any kind of meat. Hot dogs are loaded with salt and nitrates. They're processed food. The skins/cases of raw hot dogs are hard for dogs to digest. But if you're gonna give your dogs hot dogs, at least cook them first. Read this for some thoughts on hot dogs for dogs.

Had a friend that fed hers frozen green beans.

The "Green Bean Diet" is actually an accepted diet for dogs who are overweight. You give the dog a little of their regular food mixed in with more green beans. They usually scarf it right down. Frankly, dogs will eat just about anything if they get hungry enough.

But frozen? No. Especially uncut green beans.

I give him milk bones.
He takes what I forget to push far enough back on the counter...
a whole loaf of bread, a 30 pack of tortillas, a half lb. of bacon which he barfed up so fast it was still cold.
Trying to keep him under 95lbs, but it's tough when he is such a glutton and I'm so forgetful.

It's Milkbones for our two Golden Retrievers, who consider them manna from Heaven. But our vet has cautioned about keeping the portion sizes small because, as she put it, "They're like McDonald's for dogs."

Baby carrots too, or most any leftover bit that comes off a human's plate. And watermelon, their favorite summertime treat.

Our dog will only eat treats from Blue Buffalo, Apple Yogurt and Bacon and egg yogurt treats
She turns her nose up to milk bones and every now and again she’ll eat Animal Crackers our groomer gives her!
I guess she’s getting fussy in her old age and since she was a rescue and under her circumstances probably never was given a treat before?

Mine is a terrible counter grazer. Doesn't bother anything when I'm home but if I'm gone.......nothing is safe.
A whole pkg of brat buns, 1 1/2 lbs of Gummy Bears, 1/2 a pan of lemon bars. Tried a pkg of RiceaRoni but mostly made a mess with that. Any uncovered pan on the front 2 burners of the stove she will clean. The butter dish. The worst was a 1 and 1/2 lb package of dark chocolate which should have killed her but she puked it up in the middle of the night, on carpet, of course.
I have to keep the dog food in a Rubbermaid tub.

Years back I had a large German Shepherd that ate a good part of our Thanksgiving dinner but the real problem was when the two large pumpkin pies worked through and created a giant runny mess. Same dog ate a pair of pantyhose that only made it halfway out and that required a trip to the vet!

We feed our dogs a raw diet including treats. Rabbit ears, dehydrated lung slices, dried salmon, frozen hearts are all treats for our two.

We pick up sweet potatoes, slice them and put them in the dehydrator.
They love the chips, it’s good for them and cheap for us. It’s a win-win
