Earlier 640 J-frame. .38+P?

Just got a 640ND in excellent condition for $425 (no box).

Although I much prefer my old 60 & 36's to the Centennial style revolvers, I handled a friend's 640-1 357 yesterday & was favorably impressed. I liked the feel of it a lot more than the 442-2 I used to own.
