Everybody has one, why not show them?...J-Frames

Thought I would update my J-frame pair.
Frank.

Hey Wheelyfun, Yes we seem to run in the same forums. I shot some cheap blazer 38s along with some Remington 357s. The Blazers were seriously weak, not even really any fun to shoot out of our steel frame 640s. The 357s were pretty exciting though. I would say they feel about like my Kahr PM40s recoil. Not unpleasant, but they do hold your attention. I was very pleased I was able to shoot it as well as I did first time out.

I can see right now it is going to be my primary carry gun .

Seems like I remember your targets look pretty good too. How far were you shooting?

Well, I probably won't live long enough to wait for the famous grip maker who is responsible to deliver them and I probably cannot afford them. :o

But, I have ask. Can you tell us more about these grips, please? I really like the way they look.

Thanks!

Sorry for the late response. Been out of it for a while. I can't tell much beyond they are a form of boot grip and I picked them up at a swap meet. No more info on who made them either.

Heres My S&W J-Frame a 33-1

Here is a pic of my 33-1 I bought recently. According to the paper in the box, it should be a 1967 or so revolver. It is a .38 S&W cal, which I'm sure everyone knows. The box is original with all the right info on the end. For this old man, the grip is hard to use, but I still enjoy shooting it.

Try a pair of these S&W factory J frame target stocks like bronco45's 60-4. They are made with or w/o checkering:
