This animal is narcissistic and delusional. Just about all organizations have people like him...those who are always the only ones who are "right." And not speaking of LE organizations only.

When anyone thinks they are the sole arbiters of right/wrong they are, in my personal experience, always WRONG.

I suspect evidence will show he was the BEST running back and the BEST Lieutenant...but only in his warped mind.

Law enforcement entities usually weed out misanthropes such as him in the hiring stage...yet some slip through. I investigated a case of the worst law enforcement use of force imaginable. (My opinion here.) The primary perpetrator was similar to Dorner. He thought he could do no wrong as he was smarter than everyone else and thus he, alone, could determine the "proper" course of action. That was/is sad and unconscionable.

Dorner's murder of the child of someone whom he believed wronged him is ample evidence of his incredible arrogance and sub-human behavior.

All said, I doubt he is anywhere in California. Significant red herrings are in place.

I pray he is apprehended soon.

To all in his path...Be Safe.

Pretty good analysis if you ask me. And yes, according to his manifesto, he is willing and ready to kill little children. He says he knows the schools and the "recess times" of your children and your friends children.

This is eerily similar to Scorpio, the original Dirty Harry bad guy. Pure evil.......

FYI these are the two trucks owned and driven by innocent civilians shot up. The suspect was driving a grey Nissan Titan with a large roof rack.

Fixed the text for you. ;)

I've read the first portion of his manifesto, if half of it is true the man has a very reason to be highly pissed off with the L.A.P.D. and everyone involved. But there are proper ways to deal with something like this, the wanton killing of Civilians and officers is not the way to deal with this. Neither is the L.A.P.D.shooting up two civilian trucks acceptable.

Can you imagine the horror the two women, simply delivering papers went through as their truck was riddled with bullets?! Apparently with no warning, if the officers had made any attempt to apprehend the driver they would have quickly realized it was not their guy!! How many vehicles do you think could match the description of the perps?! And they were WRONG!! Apparently they were prepared to blast away at any vehicle close to fitting the description! What they did was unbelievably reckless and they should fired immediately and not allowed anywhere near a firearm for life. Sorry for the rant but the reckless irresponsibility of their actions just floors me!

I'm not surprised by these tragedies anymore ... crazies running amok are becoming more common place. What does continue to make me wonder however, is how no one saw any red flags to act upon. People don't write delusional, hate-filled manifestos and go on killing sprees because they woke up on the wrong side of the bed one morning. This individual had apparently been on slow boil for years ... and not a single person noticed?

They do notice but in today's pc world. Where no one is held accountable there ignored. People are so worried they might infringe on someone's rights. Which I can understand but people need to be held accountable for there actions also.

Personally I think the officers should be fired and brought up on attempted murder or attempted man slaughter charges. There is no and I mean no reason for any one to open fire on something that they "THINK" could be a threat. California is not a war zone and I am not even sure the military would just open fire on something like that.

What's with the media?

I agree that the man needs to be put down but the media is again exploiting a terrible situation. Earlier today I heard an overenthusiastic news announcer gushing that he may have a .50 caliber sniper rifle and a shoulder launched missile. Give the talking heads another day and they'll have him driving an M1A1 tank and flying a A-10 Warthog.

I read he does claim to haveing a .50 barrett. Could be something to it. This is in his 2nd to last paragraph in his manifesto. I copied it on the lead to this thread. Went back and found it.
As you know I also own Barrett .50′s so your APC are defunct and futile.

Corruption, excuses, whatever. I have no sympathy for a piece of garbage who kills an innocent girl and her fiance to get back at her father.

yeah sip ... its all part of that growing pile of stupid this one generates.
poorly chosen target in that the man he was out to hurt was his representation.

Yeah, what is with the media. Fancy them redacting all the political stuff and the perp's support for POTUS when they posted his manifesto.

If he decides to shortcut through the Lone Star State, I think the Texas Rangers will be the guys to finish him. Finish him for good so we never have to hear about him again.

Interstate 10 goes through El Paso, I think I'll just check my weapons again to make sure they're OK in case I have to use one quickly.

If he goes through El Paso, let's hope he makes a wrong right turn into Ciudad Juarez smack into the Zetas who mistake him for an American working for El Chapo. That's a win/win if you ask me.

"Fired"?

If either of us did what they did, we'd be criminally prosecuted.

Last night I read just about the whole report of his original accusation that his partner, a woman, mistreated and kicked a suspect. I was up until 1:30 a.m.

I believe he is a liar. If you read the report, I think any reasonable will come to the same conclusion. In fact, his partner, was trying to help him with this emotional problems, help him get into the "reintegration" program that the LAPD Offers, help him with his performance, etc.

All 3 civilians who witnessed the original scuffle stated they never saw his partner kick the suspect. All 3.

He waited for 2 weeks to file his accusation and it came after his partner, the LAPD woman said she would have to give him a poor performance rating. He even cried on on occasion because he knew he was having trouble "reintegrating."

This guy is a liar, a racist, angry, brewing, brooding, monster. He lied on the original report, he lied when he said she completed some of the report, and asked him to not mention that she kicked the suspect, etc.

That is my opinion after reading the entire report including witness statements, etc.

Folks---you can turn this into a nut thing if you wish. I think ---in some sense he is justified for his rightousness being trampled on.
I may condemn his actions---but he seems to be doing what is righteous in his eyes.
I don't think it will be as dangerous for those searching for him---maybe a few---but God help those he has the vendetta for,
He is really going to have to screw up big time to not get too a few of them.
Blessings

He's not going to get any more people on his list. I think there's a decent chance he'll eventually surrender or be captured alive. He can't air his grievances anymore if he's dead.

Yep. He was feeling desperate so he tried to make a play for a big bag of money as a whistleblower. I bet he tried for a duty disability too. Funny how so many people are willing to take his "I flipped because nobody believed me when I tried to pierce the Blue Wall of Silence" BS as the truth.

I could jump aboard this argument if it were isolated to his motivation. his claims of departmental problems just might be spot on.

Even if EVERYTHING Dorner said was a lie (and I don't yet have an opinion one way or the other), the mere fact of the shooting of the citizens indicates DEEP problems in the LAPD (as well as Torrence PD).

Nothing that was done to him justifies what Dorner did.

Nothing that Dorner did justifies what the LAPD and Torrence PD did to those citizens.

The odds are one set of crimes will be punished and the others not.

Wheather everything he claims is 100% true or false is 0% excuse to kill innocent people he never met even if they are the children of people that wronged him. He is bomb that has to be stopped.

Some very valid points.

What scares me is the "copy cat" effect. For example, do you think there are others in the LA area that might have grudges against law enforcement?? You bet your bobsled there are. What if some of these doo-dahs get the idea to start taking shots at cops, thinking that their actions will get blamed on Dorner?

I hope they get that bozo soon.

Mine opinion is still forming.
Dorners target selection is one of a vendetta rather than an attempt at applying a solution.
A snipers first target is leadership followed by communication and hardware for a reason.
He assassinated the family of one he held a grudge against and randomly hit patrol officers. He ain't no hero.
What I can give him credit for is that he might be onto something about departmental problems ... and thats it.

When I was in Korea in '81, a Muslim (Nation of Islam, I think) soldier went on a shooting spree while his unit was on the range, killing his platoon sergeant and several others. The platoon sergeant walked in front of the platoon leader just in time to get shot instead of the lieutenant. I talked to the latter while I was giving his unit a class on North Korean and Warsaw Pact weapons and tactics.

When the Military Police Investigators and CID started looking at the crime scene, certain things didn't add up. People had gotten shot who were not in the killer's line of fire. When they worked backwards from the additional victims' points of impact, they determined that they were shot by a SECOND person. It turns out that the second shooter was another soldier with some grudges which he took the opportunity to settle in the preceding chaos.

Court documents show an ex-girlfriend of Dorner's said he was "severely emotionally and mentally disturbed" after they broke up in 2006. Dorner tried to get an injuction to keep her from posting his badge number on a "don't date him" website, but the injuction was denied.

It gets curiouser and curiouser.

I've got no use for Dorner. He shot people who did nothing to him. He had no legal right to shoot those whom he claims DID wrong him, even if true.

I've got no use for the cops who shot those citizens. I haven't the slightest doubt that they'll be similarly full of self-serving justifications for what they did. Unfortunately, there's every chance that unlike Dorner, who'll probably end up dead, they'll just walk away from what they did smelling like roses.

Now the liberal left is cheering the cop to further their anti-gun agenda...
I question the mentality and the morality of anyone who supports either Dorner or the cops who shot the women delivering papers. And just today, I've seen examples of both.

People with evil agendas will support evil people doing evil things. And they say evil things in furtherance of that.

Eric Rudolph (supposedly) hid out in the woods for YEARS while being one of the most hunted fugitives in the country. Wonder if this guy has the skills to pull that off. And even if Rudolph did have help, and he probably did, there are plenty of people out there willing to hide anti government types, anti-abortion types and dedicated cop killers. I'd start checking the black nationalist groups and the hard core black panther types if this guy isn't found soon. He may have included long-term plans in his operation.

For those that do not know, there are PLENTY of people in Big Bear of all races who have no love for authority and the LAPD in particular. He could well be holed up with an anti-authority sympathiser.
