The last round (in any of my six OEM mags) will chamber but will not fire. It is not being struck by the firing pin as it has absolutely no mark on the rim although the hammer has been released and is down. The round will eject when the charging handle is pulled back...and the bolt will lock back. So, again, 24 rounds chamber, fire, and eject flawlessly, but, after the last round is chambered, somehow the bolt hold-back seems to be interfering/blocking the hammer.

None of the mags show excessive wear on the follower tab and the mag itself seems to being held in place appropriately by the mag release.

Any ideas on what may be causing this? Where...or what...should I look at? Is there anything else that may be causing this? Obviously, I don't know something I don't know.

OK...never mind! When I really examined the parts, I realized I mixed up an AR15 bolt hold-back with the 15-22 part. Putting the correct part back in solved the problem. When will I learn to not work on two weapons at the same time??
