My favorite non-S&W handgun? That's not hard to figure out. I only have two non-S&W handguns... a RIA 1911-A1 that has been nicely customized and a SA GI 1911-A1 that is box stock. For nightstand duty, etc., I take the SA GI. For a afternoon at the range punching paper, etc., I will take the RIA. It is remarkably accurate.
well i have a few colts that i would rather not part with but i think these guys gotta be my favourites , in cowboy your favourites come in pairs
ruger new vaqueros
the shorter barrelled pair can clear leather quicker and are slick the longer barrelled pair are more accurate but also slick
both pairs bone stock but with many many rounds of 38 spl. and dryfire practice
the stainless 44 has left the building, traded for a colt new service
At the risk of being redundant, Colt Gov't .45 auto. Followed closely by Browning HP, and 60s vintage Colt Trooper .357; Oohh, I almost forgot about my rechambered Colt SAA, in .45 ACP.
