Favorite Non S & W Handgun?

The last Browning Hi-Power I swear I will ever buy and then trade off. I love those things and whenever I am without one and run across a decent buy on at least a C-Code or better I grab it. I am currently without and looking....I swear I will keep the next one...I swear.

Re:OP. My favorite non-S&W handgun is a Rock Island Arsenal 1911-A1 that has been fitted with a Marvel .22 LR conversion. If I do my part it will hold the ten ring of a B-27 firing off-hand at 25 yds. Excellent means of practice. Only problem is I only have two magazines so I have to stop ever twenty rounds to reload. Oh well, the lack of extra magazines forces me to take more time to shoot up all my ammo!

Has to be my Ruger SR40. Pretty low recoil for a 40 cal.

Kimber Ultra CDP. Great little gun to carry and more accurate than I'd ever figure a 3 inch barrel would ever be.

Kimber CDP Custom Series 1. Colt Woodsman Target, 1940 edition.

My two 9 mm stainless steel Taurus PT-111 G2's.

Same size and weight, thickness as the S&W Shield but with a 12+1 capacity.

The Beretta 92FS

Anyway it would be one of the two colts. Too close to call. Actualy were I to sell the nickle python they are going for about the same as 3 single actions! Unbelievable.

These two Colts from the 1920s are my favorite non S&W handguns.
