Ze Germans

Easy peezy for me; if I don't buy American...I buy German. Both of these are tied because honestly they're both just that incredible in my eyes.

HK P7 M13 in 9mm

HK USP Full-size in good ole .45 ACP ( This has over 30,000 rounds between my father and I since he first bought it in 95. Not one failure...ever.)

Though I'll give a slight edge to the P7 M13, just because it's fairly scarce and I think it has one of the nicest triggers I've ever felt on a production gun.

I really like my 1911s, and of those, my Les Baer Concept VII is a favorite. I ordered it nine years ago, with some custom features, such as the arched mainspring housing, and beveling of the edges. Great pistol!

not able to do pics at the moment but semi- colt delta elite gold cup

revolver- colt pythons

My Sig traditional 1911 is sitting with me now. My little Kimber Elite rides IWB most days. I really like my Ruger Bisley .44 special for just wandering the woods, and I've grown fond of a 3rd gen DS for....well a backup to my backup I suppose. My EDC, however, is unmentionable in this thread.....its little, light, holds 5 rounds, and is always in my pocket!

My pick is this Ruger MKII Target with the hard to find 4" bull barrel. Well made and accurate. It's my favorite plinking semiauto, and I would really like to test my aim by squirrel hunting with it some day but a decent leather holster for the 4" variety can't be found.

Hard to choose.....maybe my slightly tweaked Series 70. It has two slides, one with night sights that it wears most of the time. Or maybe a High Standard Supermatic; one of these taught me how to shoot a pistol.

My wife and I have a pair of HK USP Tacticals, hers is a factory tricked up .40 cal with factory tuned trigger, funnel mag, Trijicon night sights, and suppressor. Mine is a .45 with Trijicon night sights and suppressor. I like to shoot hers more than mine, it is the most accurate handgun I have ever shot. It amazes me how well it shoots at distance, especially with the can in place. We have had more fun shooting these two handguns than any of the other rifles and pistols that we have ever owned. Theres alot to be said for suppressor use, no earmuffs necessary and since your quiet you can shoot just about anyplace with a good safe backdrop without drawing attention to yourself. I like shooting my S&W pistols at the range but when were just out plinking in the woods I like to shoot the HK's.
