Federal Champion 9mm 100 count $19.97 Walmart

Stumbled upon the .45 ACP, 100rd Federal 230 grain bulk pack for $25.97 deal referenced above.... I bought all four... if they had more I would have bought them all.

Mine isn't carrying cleaning jags anymore. Turns out the universal cleaning kit I bought a year ago didn't have any .45 brushes, jags, or mops in it... I was in looking for some when I found this stash. :D

The Fed Champion 100 round box of 9mm is about the best value for 9mm ammo around. The .45 round box is great also, at $25.97 it is not much more expensive than 9mm! Pretty great deals if you can catch them in stock.

The only things I don't like about the ammo is that it is loaded really light and leads the barrel sometimes because the copper plating is so thin. It's still hot enough to function and the leading just takes a little extra work to get rid of. All in all it's worth the money saved.

When it comes to ammo for paper punching I want the cheapest I can get while not being defective.

I saw (4) boxes of the 100rd .45's at walmart the other day but I don't own any 45's so I passed. It's crazy how cheap they are though compared to the 50rd boxes.

I'm happy I started reloading...

Now that I'm reloading good quality 115gr. plated RN 9mm, I'll spend about $36 in powder, primers and bullets (I have collected 1,000's of my Walmart used brass=Free) to make 250 nice shooting rounds(Labor not included).
I think it was worth my $250 startup cost. I focus more on shooting than my wallet now;).

went to wally world looking for this deal today (it would take a deal to get me there, i hate the place) no luck with the 100rnd federal but they did have plenty of the remington UMC 115 in the 250 box for 59.57, this is the ammo I usually shoot and at = 11.91 per 50 i'll take it!

I bought some of federal fmj and had some failure to feed Issues. The shell would go about half way in any one had trouble on this ? I got a m&p 9 mm

All you mf's that buy all they have are the reason no one else can find any....

That is all I use for my 9mm, 40s&w, 45acp. I do not get light hits with the Federal Champion. I have had light hits with Winchester WB, Remington UMC. The Federal is clean and consistent. My Walmart is hit or miss on the ammo. The 100 count are out of stock more than the 50 count. The best time to find them is 9-10am, when they are finishing up on stocking, at least in my local Walmart. The 100 count 9mm are/were $19 the 50 count are/were $10. The 40 & 45's are up to near $.40 per shot.

My Shield has zero problems with Federal Champion.

That is a great price...congrats. I live close to 3 stores....none of the 3 every have any in stock. I just started rolling my own....even cheaper, and more accurate.

I just left the Wally World in Palmetto, FL and they had a bunch of Federal 9mm 100 count and .45 100 count.

In South Florida, Miami Dade area in a radius of 40 miles there is only one Wally store selling ammo (the one in Florida City) and never, never has the Federal 100 ct. What a bad luck.

Managed to grab a few boxes today. Some of the tight supply has been related to a large commitment Federal made with Homeland Security. I recently learned that Walmart signed a 10 year contract with Federal to assure continuing supplies of ammo. Good news for those wanting an ongoing source of inexpensive, quality practice ammo.

Bought a couple hundred last week at a wally a little west of the st louis, mo airport. They had about ten boxes. I only bought two cause I get scolded when I spend to much. :-)
Shot 100 of them today throught my shield.
I have not looked at the wally near my house (west suberb) of St Louis. My uncle works in the sporting dept at another wally and says he sometimes has higher count boxes as well. He said he would call and try to set aside any killer deals he has.
