For happy Shield owners

Can we please stop answering questions about the Slide Lock Lever, mag loading and the Recoil Spring Assembly and just let haters and trolls feed off themselves, and go in circles, chasing their own tails.

Honestly, I've haven't seen so much whining about nothing since nursery school....or so many questions asked and answered 100s of times since my kids were in the "Why" stage.

I must be living under a rock. I didn't know the Shield had any problems.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but mine's been completely reliable after 1000+ rounds.

I also found it to be completely intuitive right out of the box.

I have a Shield 9MM and love it to pieces. I just wish I had the strength to fill the mags but that is why the mag loader was invented.

I've got about 1-1.5k rounds through my shield 40 now and cc it every day. I've found that I can now load the mags now without too much trouble. Whether that's because I've developed super mag loading muscle or they've just broke it, it's all good.

I shoot low and left, but I know it's me and not the gun because sometimes it hits where it's supposed to, but most of the time I've got a less than 2 inch group.

Sights might be a hair off, but not so far that i'm shooting low left to that extent.

I know how to search and use tapatalk very well. When I found this forum I thought great a place to learn from more experienced shooters and experts. But it appears that we newbies are just a burden to the "pros", so I will make sure I ask my LGS questions before I even come on here.

So I am out.

They have made a million of them. They continue to make a thousand a day. I'm sure their not all perfect but for the price I don't think you can get a better CC. I don't know if it will ever come in but I have a Performance Center model on order.

I was new o the SHIELD 9mm last year! I asked a lot of question's and read about problems people were having! ALL very helpful! We were all noobs once and have to ask question's on things we do not know. As mentioned the search box does not always work! A simple thing to do if you do not like a topic of a thread DO NOT READ it!!!! Problem solved!!!
If someone new ask a question I read a lot about I will offer to help if I can! I thought this forum was here to help people not bust their chops because they asked a common question!!

Thanks for both viewpoints.

FYI, I have no problem with anyone asking a question, nor do I have a problem with answering.

I do find that people answering not adding anything new is distracting, and unless your forum view is different than mine, I can't see what people have posted until I read them.

To each his own...just trying to reinforce the notion that "reading other others on a subject" before asking is a god idea, and, most importantly:

There are more than 1M happy Shield owners and less than 100 or so people who express problems (or pile on) on the forum, over and over.

Hey, you've got you're opinions, I've got mine. The Conclusion! (get it anyone???)

I agree you have your opinion and I respect that.

I just hope the people who come on to the forum who are looking to learn realize that the opposite opinion of yours is represented in the majority of the post here.

Just don't want to run off new members that may someday manage to put something out there that you might find valuable and learn from.

I don't appreciate this request. There are plenty of people out there who struggle with the internet and systems like message boards and post common questions simply due to lack of exposure and/or limited computer use. Requesting forum members to limit their responses is unproductive and does not utilize this resource we have to its potential.

Perhaps you could compile a list of threads that address these common issues and post them as a sticky or FAQ.
