May be operator error but she is my wife. Doesn't eat her thumb every shot but when she just has to wrap that other thumb over her right hand in the middle of a string she immediately does remember. I don't worry about the money as much as I do care that she does LIKE to shoot. That is also why I don't shoot any competition with a 12 ga gun. I LIKE to shoot but don't like the recoil... Hard for me to spend 1500 on a P 210...but I will probably talk myself into doing so. We are all odd people at times, huh?

Heck I'd spend $500 to get my wife "into" shooting without batting an eye.

Be careful what you wish for! My wife loves to shoot, she believes it’s a good form of stress relief and I agree, but the paper doesn’t always die and sometimes the grass does as sometimes she shoots a little too fast for her skills. She can go through hundreds of rounds in no time and I just get sore thumbs from loading all the magazines. She sure likes to make money into noise...
Just an FYI, when I was at the Sig Academy Pro Shop this past weekend, and they were selling the P365 for close to $442.
I was able to shoot the P365 at the demonstration bay at the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit, and it performed well against the plate rack. I was also able to try the Smith Shield 9 EZ, and the P365 had less muzzle flip than the Smith.
Personally, I think that you will enjoy the P365!

If he spends 3x that, he can get her the P210! And then "borrow" it.
That sounds GREAT to me! I wouldn't care a fig about the cost if I could get her interested in my hobby. I reload so ammo cost wouldn't faze me one bit.

It's a really innovative firearm and has exceptional ergonomics and overall feel. Handles well, more in line with a full size in my opinion. Likely best in class/product category, although folks have strong brand preferences and may feel differently.
Pricing I wouldn't worry too much about and sounds about right. Depends where you buy; major retailer/online, versus local mom and pop shop. I think I paid $ 550 over a year ago, then add tax background, etc. A lot of different opinions out there on carry methods, holsters, etc. Whatever is comfortable and safe for you and your wife and your good-to-go. Ummm If I bought the 210 for my wife I can pretty much guarantee she would NOT let me borrow it...especially since I sold her Super Blackhawk... Anyway I doubt it would fit her hand...LOL

Really a nice handling gun that you can stick in your jacket or pants pocket. Recoil spring a little stiff for me but I am getting it worked out.
Picked it up today..Sold the fellow 150 bucks worth of bullets brass and powder. So only 350 cash out of pocket for it plus about 75 bucks cost on the reloading stuff. Nice little handgun has 2 12 round mags and under the foam there was another new10 round mag...Now I have to sell a bunch of stuff to get that P-210...enough stuff here to raise that I hope. If she would let me sell the Kahr I would just go buy the 210. I will try posting a pic tomorrow. Not a bad feeling little pistol. Has some kinda weird looking little "holster" in the case too. And it is new unfired....but not for long I'll bet

I paid less than $600.for mine a few month ago.
Nah, I already have all the guns I need even before getting the Sig.
Now as for having all the guns I want, that's a whole 'nother thing - and I'll bet that's true for Iggy too.
Yeah it's the wants that drive me to buy..not need. I buy some stuff(mostly reloading items etc) to sell for profit so I can afford some of my wants. Selling the Ruger SBH is going to cost me dearly I think. At least she doesn't want more shoes, clothes or new furniture. But she does like antiques and AUCTIONS!. She has a couple of real Tiffany(gas) lamps in her room. Much of the furniture is pre WWII and much older in the house
