From My Window This Morning

Thank you all for your comments and posting photos. It is my intention to post images monthly so you can see the seasonal changes that God has allowed me to witness. After 27 years of living in a small home “temporarily” we have been blessed to move to an even smaller community in the country. Life is a compromise. Thirty years ago, our dream was a century home on fifty acres. Now, we are both in our sixties and every century home we looked at included the conversation like this, “we can convert this room into a bathroom and this this parlor into a bedroom so we can have a first floor master.” Life is a compromise. The property we bought, is 3 1/3 acres with two commercial buildings and an 18 year old ranch. And it is about 95% perfect, for us.

Thank you for sharing your photos and stories with me. I hope you all find the blessings Herself and I have been granted.

Kevin

No pics, but cold and raining. We need it.

I'd take a picture but I'm filthy from working in the yard . It's 82 here and I'm sweating like a pig . My wife , in her ultimate wisdom , decided we needed to move our crepe myrtles while it's still "cool" out . I could really stand some of that cold weather right about now .

We don’t see many deer here. We saw more in the suburbs. Out here, if you want to see deer, look in the freezers! Everyone hunts.

Kevin

OH We hunt here Also, Not so much myself.
These Are golf course deer i live across the street and they learned real quick where the bird feeders are this group comes around every night.

Kenny, love the old Ford. Up here in NY we park them this time of yr because the road salt eats them up

Thank you.

I really lucked out on this one. I just bought it the 1st of November.
Its a 1976.

Some surface rust from sitting in the sun the last 20+ years.
Some rust at the base of the fenders by the doors.

No bed wheel well rust, no rust in the cab corners or cab mount areas.

The rest of the truck was really tired though.

That’s a classic. I had an 84 that rusted out over the rear tires after 10 yrs or so. I had it repaired and resprayed and don’t remember it being too expensive. Ever done any body work ?[emoji4]

From my deck this evening. I enjoyed a bit of beauty in these sad times.
