That's the date of my third and final wedding. Wasn't going to do it again after what the last two put me through, but this one is too good to let get away.
Some of you have met her in person at Tulsa when I introduced her as the best woman I've ever met next to my mother and grandmother. She takes way better care of me than I probably deserve.

Or third times a charm. Congrats & good luck, 29.

Very true. Mrs. swsig had been through two divorces when she met me. Because I am absolutely perfect ;):D, we will celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary on 8/23/20, just one day after your wedding date. That's a good week to get married, so there is hope!

Best wishes for a long and happy marriage.

I was very bitter after my divorce in '70. My best friend in this life told me something that turned me around. He said, "Women are like busses. Another one comes along about every 15 minutes. Just wait for the one that's going where you want to go.

He later introduced me to Miss Pam and the rest is history.

Congratulations on your up coming wedding. I hope this'n is a keeper.

As a defender of the institution, I want to add my congratulations and encouragement in your upcoming marriage. Many are disillusioned by unsuccessful marriages and forgo legal thereafter, even if living together.

My personal belief is you are showing a commendable level of commitment and integrity by getting legally married.

My wife and I have been blessed to have been married for 48 years as of the 24th of this month. We have experienced both bitter and sweet, including the death of a son, and the bitter has been softened and the sweet has been sweeter by our bond.
