I heart ya. The motorcycle club went for a group ride yesterday and we all had our electric jackets turned on. Temps were in the high 50's.
The temp here is 18 and snowing and I just saw a guy on a motorcycle.

Part of "global warming" is that whatever happens, it's evidence of global warming. That's what passes for "science" these days.Part of global warming is weather extremes.

It might be a normal climate change, it might be partially man made, it might be all man made. But it is real. The scientists who actually study climate agree. It is going to effect everybody. Denying it is a lot like King Canute ordering the waves to stop. Interesting to watch but totally ineffective. Makes you wonder why politicians would deny reality.
Me too.I'm old enough to remember the speculation about a coming ice age in the 70's. Brought to you by the same liberal gang that now pushes "climate change", formerly known as "global warming". Funny how this mostly comes from liberals who would love to turn us into a total nanny state with Al Gore types telling us how to live, give up our cars and enjoy our bicycles.
Kind of like drinking.
I drink because I'm glad. I drink because I'm sad. I drink because it's hot. I drink because it's cold. I drink because I'm young. I drink because I'm old.
Global warming is hard at work here in downeast Maine. I took this pic at 0930 - 8deg, 30mph wind with gusts into the 40s, expecting 18-24" of snow and only 19hours left of the National Weather Service's blizzard warning!

16:00 Midcoast ME. 12 deg 30 mph gusts into the 40's.
By no means anything historic. Just another storm deserving of respect. Going by sideways, so it isn't even really pretty sticking to the trees. I feel bad for all the lineman they were shipping in yesterday. Convoys of them southbound on 95 with New Brunswick plates. I don't see this causing serious havoc with the grid. It's too light and fluffy.
But they make a lot of bank when it's bad outside, as they should.
Does anyone else notice how so many network news stories about the horrors of global warming / climate change are based on the mere prediction of a storm?... By no means anything historic. Just another storm deserving of respect. ...
