Locally the prices are $28.95/1000 for most primers although CCI are the most available and the Remington primers are $32.95/1000.

Primers? What primers? I still haven't found anyone that has a good supply on hand at a reasonable price. Nobody has even close to a 1000 at a time on hand either, at least that's their story.

And it doesn't help with the ATF shutting all the FFLers down either.

Primer prices are all over the map. I picked up 10,000 CCI small rifle at Cabela's a couple weeks ago for $19.95 per 1,000. Should have bought another 10,000. Tom.

$28-35.00 per K depending on the kind. From what I was told by one of my distributors prices are going up 10% in May....

That price was out the door, I have seen this price at Midway and the others but you have to add the Haz-mat charge to it and that jacks the price up. Thanks for the input, sound like I was lucky and came out OK on price.

I guess we have to start figguring that inflation and the increasing cost of raw materials is going to drive the cost of everything up. Out of site fuel costs are going to drive transportation costs up. Food prices are going throught the ceiling and will only get worse, the value of the dollar is going downhill fast, so the cost of anything we import will increase.
Where is our friendly helpful government when you need it.

$30 to $30.75 per 1000 for CCI, Federal and Winchester from my gun club. This includes tax, OTD.

At the Ventura, California gun show today, W-W primers were $20/thousand, and the Russian Tula brand was $17/thousand.

I paid about $37 out the door (about 9% sales tax) at Turner's Outdoorsman here on the Left Coast.

The shops in central Ohio seems in lock step. CCI, Federal and Winchester are normally $36/1000. I see them on sale every other month for $28. If I saw them at $20 I'd snatch 10k at least.
