Hi I just purchased an MP 15-22 2 days ago and I was wondering if there was a 4x optic anyone would recommend for under $100? I don't have the best vision in the world so that's why I would love a 3x or 4x tactical looking optic. Sorry if this has already been asked, I had some trouble using the search function since I'm using my phone. I'm also very new to tactical styled rifles so excuse my ignorance. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks guys!

I'm not aware of any decent tactical scopes that are less than $100.

There's the Nikon P22 2-7x32 BDC-150. It's brand new. You could also look at the Prostaff 3-9x40 BDC-150. It's a little less expensive than the P22.

Anyone know anything about the BSA tactical red dot scope? It's 3x magnified for $99.99 at academy. It says it designed for tactical weapons so I assume it will fit a MP 15-22 (remember I'm really green when it comes to these weapons lol). So anyone have any experience with it? I'll look up the nikon too, thanks for the info!

I went with a Leapers Bug Buster variable zoom 3-9 i believe. Its illuminated red or green has mil-dots and is fairly compact. Accurate as all get out.

Any need for riser or anything special to mount it?

Depends on where your eyes fall. I have a riser and it's a little too high. Going to step down to a smaller one. Plenty of folks have this optic and don't use a riser.
