I'll have to say that I was expecting a much longer wait. I sent in the paper work and coupon for the 2 mags and rebate on Jan 9th. I got the mags in the mail today. That ain't bad!

FINALLY received my free mags (SW9GVE) today and both were 16-rds. Got my rebate check last week.

Better late than never (have been waiting since Nov for mags and Dec for rebate).

But, I'm a happy camper now.

The check was issued on 2-29, which was eight
weeks to the day after I mailed it.
Hope the mags are in the mail, but I've heard
they have had some supply problems on those.. ??
The check is nice, but the two mags actually
are worth a bit more.

I got the 9mm, but my dad got the 40cal. He mailed his on Dec. 29th. He got his check the same day I did, but did not get the mags. I guess the 40cal. are in shorter supply.

OK, well that makes me feel a little better,
being I'm not the lone ranger on those .40
mags..
Like I say, I don't have to have them right now,
but I'd sure hate to lose out on those due to
loss. I'll be needing them eventually, as I plan
to keep the various mags loaded with different
loads, depending on what the potential problem
is...
IE: I'll keep a mag of HP's for night use, but
I'll also keep mags full of loads more suited
to larger animals and woods/trail use.

S&W customer svs. e-mailed me that mags started to be shipped Jan 31.
You got yours mid Jan.
Oh well.

sent in my rebate coupon 3-3-08 $100 for my new 1911PD . When do you folks think i will receive the money? Also here was the deal $729 price then lowered to $689 then $100 rebate leaves $589 plus tax NIB did I get took??

Just recieved my 2 free fullsize mags today. I sent out for them back in december. I recieved my 1911 holster and mag pouch, that only took about a month. I'm still waiting on my compact mags and my 2 checks. How many people have recieved their checks and what was the wait time?

I paid $629 for my 1911, no $100 rebate, it did have the holster and mag pouch rebate tho.

After reading these posts and the dates involved, I called S&W yesterday. While I mailed the rebate on Dec.27, the rep said it did not get processed until the end of Feb!!! They got swamped with the rebate response and were not prepared.
At least they have my forms and I'll be getting the mags & check soon.

Just received my .40sve mags today. I sent out the rebate coupon around Jan. 28th and got the mags but no rebate check. Hope that comes soon cuz its going to the gun fund.
