I'm a new guy to the forums but not to S&W. The first handgun I ever shot was back in the 1950s and it was my dad's nickle-plated S&W snubnose .38. I couldn't hit squat with it but I loved how it looked and felt in my hand. I'm partial to the J-frame Centennials these days.
