Grinding MIM Hammer?

I purchased a Thunder Ranch 22-4 and considered buying a second hammer and bobbing the spur.

My question is; is a MIM hammer solid or hollow? I wouldn't want to reshape it only to find out it has a cavity....Thanks...Notime2
