Hand Ejector 3rd Mod.
How to repair a chipped grip? Piece is missing so thought I'd add epoxy to fill. Will it adhere to the hard rubber? How do you make black epoxy? Other suitable products?

You can use black dye in Acraglass or stain it after. There is usually blaack and brown dye in the kits Brownell's sells.

Just checked my Acraglass and it does have dye, I'd forgotten about the dye. Tomorrow's project.
Thanks!

I have found that cyanoacrylate glues are wonderful for this application.
They are available in colors, including black.
They are available in different viscosities from water thin to gel.
When cured, it can be shaped, sanded and polished.

Look up a company called Glu-Boost.
Their products are specifically designed for musical instrument repair and finish matching. You can fill chips, wick into cracks, and color match existing finishes.
