Recently I put a Numrich's used target trigger in my 28-2, and upon reassembly, the hand would not cycle the cylinder. The hand was attached properly to the trigger.
When I put the original narrow trigger back in and buttoned her up, the cylinder cycled fine. I can only attribute this to the torsion spring.
It's unnerving to think that a part so small could render a defense gun useless. Is there a recommended maintenance routine for these things? I've never experienced a worn torsion spring before now, but clearly they can be worn out.
