Finally had a chance to put some rounds thru my new SD40VE. So far, I am really liking this pistol...easy to field strip, great egos for my big hands and as accurate as I can be.:roll eyes:

Yeah, a big gun, but it's comfortable in my hands...concealing it isn't easy, but between a DTOM medium fanny pack and my Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3.0 IWB Holster, I think I have a reasonable comfortable set up...

More after I've shot 1000 rounds thru it!

Welcome to the club. I carry mine in an alien gear owb holster. Very comfy and surprisingly lightweight, only 30 ounces loaded.

Very nice! Its a fine pistol. I shoot my SD40VE more than my M&P40.

I had to wrap 2 bicycle inner tubes to get the comfort I felt was good for me. I also undercut the trigger guard and the beaver tail a bit too.

Welcome to the SD40VE club!

I have both the SD9VE and SD40VE. The SD40VE was my first 40 cal. and I was not disappointed! The 9VE is my main EDC-take it everywhere. Main holster is a DeSantis Speed Scabbard-leather, open top 3 slot pancake. Also have a Fobus paddle style for "grab & go" times when running out the door for errands, etc. Accurate, reliable and dependable, just what you want in a carry/home defense gun :-)

i carry my SD40VE daily. I carry it in a Raw Dog IWB holster and it hides it pretty good even while wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Of course my Wife just picked up a new Ruger LC9S, and that thing all but completely disappears! But then again, having 14+1 rounds of Hornady XTP 180gr hollow points gives you a bit of a comforting feeling. This is what I carry on me daily...

I have an SD40VE only have put 500 rounds in it so far. Runs great. Still looking for a southpaw holster. Great gun.
