Got e-mail from FedEx to expect a package from SAW on Monday, this is for Rebate they got on 8/17/17, but the Rebate for the Shield which they got 8/25/17 i got last week!
Had called S&W and asked why i got the later rebate 1st and was told the Rebate for 2.0 since gun is new they have a shortage on Mags! So almost 15 weeks on this one!

When checking for your rebate enter ONLY your zip and last name.
Milano Online Rebate Inquiry
I finally called the Milano number since it has been 9 weeks since I submitted the claim for rebate. Here are my dates:
Date of purchase: 09/30/17
Date Claim submitted: 10/05/17
Date Claim was ENTERED by MILANO: 11/13/17 (5 weeks later???)
Date rebate was shipped: Not Yet
I tried to leave a message on the Milano voice mail since no human beings apparently work there who can answer the phone. I got a mechanical voice message informing me "Mailbox full." Click!
This has been a terrible experience communicating with the rebate company and a black eye for Smith and Wesson. I would think their reputation would be worth more to them than to contract with such a consumer un-friendly company.
Even if they are out-of-stock on an item and not able to ship there is no excuse for not sending a text or an email with a brief explanation, or even an acknowledgement that I exist.

8/14 accepted date on Milano got fedex notice a couple days ago should arrive today. No ship date showing on Milano site so not sure if they update that or not.
Took a while but I don't care really it's free stuff. Would have bought with or without the rebate stuff.

I just checked the Milano website and my record still shows nothing for Shipped. My rebate package was delivered this morning by FedEx. I'm guessing there is no "back flow" of information from S&W to Milano to identify the records that have had the rebate fulfilled. Totally unprofessional system!!
Got it this evening.
I got my second one yesterday. Sent for it on August 4. 2 boxes of ammo, 2 mags, and the mag loader. Both of my rebate packages took around 4 months to get to me. I never got an email from S&W on either, but I did from Fedex. So for me, S&W kept their word and made 2 great pistols.

Finally got my 2.0 mag/ammo Rebate today, they got it 8/17/17 so took 14 1/2 weeks and did not show on Milano Site till 6 weeks later and since then no "Nothing"!
Glad this "MESS" is over!
If that was for the compact 2.0 did you get 15 round magazines or 17 round full size magazines?
The 15 round magazines for the compact 2.0 are still selling at a premium so I have been holding off ordering more hoping the rebate mags will be the correct size.
No! It was for the new 2.0 and i got 2 17 rd. mags, when i bought it don't think there was a 2.0 Compact available or even known about.
Strange thing is/was on the 2 17 rd. mags which came with the 2.0 easily hold 18 rds. and the 2 i got today i have not tried out to see how many these hold? I know some could only get 17 rds in mags which came with the 2.0 where i can get 18 in each!

Bought a new M&P 2.0 FDE at the end of July. I am glad I bought it, I love the pistol, and would probably have bought it even without the rebate. It is now mid December and still no sign of the rebate.
I was just shopping for a new revolver for Christmas, and it came down to a a new 27 Classic or a Ruger Redhawk. Both fine firearms. I ended up buying the Redhawk on principle, as I think the customers expected more from S&W on this rebate deal, and there should always be consequences.

I bought a couple of 17 round magazines about 2 months ago. They both hold hold the rated 17 and hit a hard stop before the 18th would go in. Maybe putting that last round in was putting a lot of extra stress on the spring and they redesigned the follower.
Some frown on putting in more rds. than recommended, but i have been around long enough to know that any quality mag can hold up to 2 more rds. by simply adding a +2 mag extension!
Which is how many companies even sell their extended mags by simply adding a +2 mag base!
Same with the Shield the 7 and 8 rd mags use same spring etc..!
In my VP9 instead of 15 i can also add 1 more!
Anyone getting thier mags,ammo and loader for an M&P9 1.0?
Smith has mine in their system (entered 8/25) but I haven't received anything yet. I see people with later entry dates recieving thier rebate goodies,but wondering if that is for different models.

This my first post, I won a M&P 2.0 in July, sent in the paperwork by mail last part of August. Today I received text from Fed Ex they had a package I had to sign for. Mags, ammo and re loader came. Actually the reloader works pretty good, but I already had a lulu. Tom

I figured it would take a while but, wow.
I sent a Ruger P-85 back to Ruger for warranty repairs and some extra looking after. I sent it in and 2 weeks later it was back home to me. That's service!
