The study, of course, will fail to mention that the majority of this care goes to criminal/gang elements injured during illegal activities. I will readily concede that the Crips, Bloods, Triad, Mongols and the Mexican Mafia have woefully deficient employee benefit plans (no 401K, dental, paid vacation etc) but is that really a basis for national health insurance policy?

As with subprime mortgages, this plan of action is called "spreading the risk".

Why on earth would they let that old musty Constitution get in the way of controling our lives? This whole "health care" bill is just a foot in the door to total control. All they have to do is call bullets a health risk and ban them. The Constitution is very specific about what the government can't take away from us including guns but they can regulate the heck out of what we feed them. These guys know exactly what they are doing right down to giving in on certain aspects of the bill to make it look like they are compromising. It's just smoke and mirrors. They just need to get something passed.

Seems that with today's developments on health care, the anti-gun legislators will have full time next year to work on voiding the Second Amendment. I feel certain the administration will be happy to cheer, if not lead, the charge.
