Hello from Vermont, first S&W

Hello everyone,

I recently joined the forum as I was passed down a Model 1899 hand ejector from my grandfather (and his grandfather before that). I'm not new to shooting, but this is my first S&W and first revolver. Previously taught .22 target shooting at a summer camp and enjoy firearms history as well as and building/shooting my Remington 700 precision rifle.

Looking forward to learning more about S&W from the wealth of knowledge here, and plan on adding a .357 to the collection before long.
