Help identify a 1911 10MM ?

Well I made it back from the range. I ran almost a full box through it. The gun ran flawlessly. Although one mag holds the slide back at 8 rounds leaving two hanging still in the mag. So two mags are good, one is, if you don't mind shooting just 8 of 10!

I could shoot 4" groups at 15 yards with it using Shoot N C 5" targets. With one of the groups within 2.5" of each other. So it's a shooter. The gun is certainly a Frankenstein. AMT frame, Kimber trigger, unknown upper. But it shoots well. I'm going to speak with her tomorrow and make an offer and see what she says. Will let you all know.

I too think that it is an AMT frame. The front and rear sight are for sure Millett. I installed many a set of them years ago. The front sight has two small cups that protrude thru the slide and are expanded outward to seize the sight into place. I wonder if the barrel is marked in any manner? The grip checkering is impeccably done as is the installation of the beavertail. Given the degree of workmanship I see, I will bet that this 1911 will run just fine. ............. Big Cholla
