HELP Identifying Single Action Hammer

need help identifying a single action hammer that came in a parts package
I do know the one spur less hammer is for a Ruger SP101 DAO but the single action hammer has me stumped as I have only had one single action revolver in my life which was a Virginian Dragoon 22 Magnum in the early 90s = 30 years ago now
Thought maybe I could post the photos at a few forums & come up with something
Don't know if it's S&W Ruger Colt OR??~~~~

As I said I know the one is for a Ruger SP101 made before they where cast or MIM, It is the reason I ordered the parts package & ended up with the SA hammer which was also listed as for a SP101s but knew it was wrong from the last photo
May have to post twice to list all of the photos

I think it's a Ruger original Vaquero hammer. Google Vaquero hammer and the images look the same. There's one on Ebay. I think the hammers are the same for New Model Blackhawks. So could be either.

NM Ruger SA. Don't know the NM Rugers enough (at all!) to say which particular model/frame it came from.

It does have the cylinder latch plunger & spring in place with small cross pin. You don't get those when you order just a 'hammer' as a part.

I have now been told the SA Hammer is a Ruger New Model Blackhawk of one caliber or another

The hammer with the spur is a New Model Ruger hammer; either a mid frame or large frame size. But looks like a large frame size for the Blackhawk and original Vaquero. It's not for the Super Blackhawk which has a wide spur (although it will work).

An overall height dimension will tell the tale. What does it measure?

It would be much more helpful to those that are trying to help you, to just read the ruler and provide the measurement.

They vary somewhat, but if it reads ~2 5/16" (2.312" or taller), it's a large frame.
