Can you recommend brand & grain of ammo for (1) hog hunting (2) coyote hunting with an M&P 10?

Seems like 168 gr works best for me overall, however overkill for yotes. Curious on your thoughts...

Thank you

Accuracy is allways your primary concern so you need to use what works. If the 168 works best, which many report, then a different bullet may work for you.

Personally I would consider the Federal Gold Medal Match, which is a hollow point or OTM, but not really designed for maximum expansion, yet I understand many deer have been taken with it.

You can load .308 with light bullets when handloading, but this is all mute if you cannot get things dialed in accurately, and that requires a lot of work which may not pan out.

I load Nosler 110 grain Varmints for yotes and smaller critters.

150 grain Hornady SST's for everything else. You could go up to a 165 grain SST for big hogs. Adjust powder levels to fit you gun, for what it likes.
