Need some insight for a IWB conceal holster for my full size 45 M&P.
Its a bigger gun to conceal but I make it work but my $10 holster is not comfortable.
I was looking at the supertuck but really don't want to spend $100 for it. Any ideas of something like the supertuck just not its price tag, or is the supertuck really worth my money?

If you plan to keep the gun and truly want to carry it, spend some money on a good holster and a good gun belt. CrossBreed is a good holster and they make a fine belt. Once you purchase quality goods, you will be amazed at how much easier it is to carry a larger pistol. Look at it as an investment.

Yeah thats what I was thinking. Well I guess I know what my plains are for my next pay check. Thanks for the advice.

I ordered my Supertuck on Jan 13.

Should get it within two more weeks.

They are swamped.

I added horsehide, and J clips.

Total with shipping: $107.00

It's for my full size MP40

I couldn't agree more. I learned this lesson many years ago when I was carrying a Colt's Government model. Cheap holster + cheap belt = back pain. That durn pistol felt more like a tumor than anything else. Purchased a Bianchi Askins Avenger holster and Bianchi gunbelt and was amazed at how my back quit hurting and at times, I even forgot the pistol was on my belt (this was several years ago when I was a lot younger). I occasionally carry my H&K P7, and finding quality holster for this pistol is usually difficult and expensive. I was lucky to find an Askins Avenger for it, and using that on a 1.5" riggers belt I can wear it all day long without any discomfort.

Best of luck,

Dave

I also carry a full-size semi-auto...have been for about 4 months. I purchased an Old Faithful IWB holster. Very similar to the Crossbreed, but with slightly thicker kydex and leather. Also, the kydex is attached with screws, as opposed to rivets, which allow for adjustment once the leather breaks in. I bought the kit...it was half the price of the Crossbreed and only took about 10 minutes to complete. I wear it 95% of the time I carry (which is 99.9% of the time) and love it.

+1 on a Lobo Gun Leather holster. I just got one for my MP9FS and couldn't be happier. Ray is a member here and does outstanding work for far less than $100.00

How about Theis holsters? Little less expensive but a great product. It is my favorite.

www.rgrizzle.com for all your holster needs. 7 to 10 day turnaround for an additional $40.00 and well worth the extra 40.

I've got three of his holsters. You can spend more money, but you can't get a better holster.

Buying a cheap holster is like discount dentistry; you can get it, but do you really want to?

+1 Lobo Gun Leather. I'm still new to concealed carry but have been wearing my iwb with a M&P40 FS for a couple of weeks and have found it very comfortable. Drove 6+ hours wearing today while also stopping at some stores and restaurants.

Crossbreed starts at 70 if I remember right. I got the "stock" one (no horse hide or combat cut) and love it. Carry a full size fnx9 (18 rounds with one in the chamber) with no problems.

You are correct.

Start is 69.75.

Horsehide, 15.00

J Clips, 15.00

Combat Cut, 7.50

S/H, around 9.00

They are covered up. But I have read so many good reviews on the Crossbreed.

Mine should be delivered within 2 weeks.

Not bashing the OP but what I find really amazing is people who think a 10 dollar holster will work like a $100,00+ holster. after all its just a place to hold your gun, when I hear people say" I don't want to spend much" I ask them if their life is only worth $10.00 bucks. cheap **** will get you killed.
equip yourself with the best you can afford. I am very far from a rich man and I carry in a Milt sparks $127.00 to my door it will last6 a lifetime and is very comfortable.
