Hoplophobes on parade and hijacking Hunter Orange

The gun grabbing hoplophobes have declared June 2nd "National Gun Violence Awareness Day." They're encouraging supporters to don Hunter Orange apparel to show support for the cause.

Every Town for Gun Safety, an organization dedicated to more gun control is a sponsor of this event and is hoping that orange will rule the day.

I for one, will definately not be wearing orange and will be encouraging my friends and family to wear pro gun attire. I intend to have on my NRA Benefactor Member ball cap and my NRA Supports Law Enforcement tee shirt. I'll also have on one of my S&W belt buckles and will be packing, concealed of course.

I urge you all to get the word out on social media, lets make sure on June 2nd our pro gun support is clear to see.

If you watch the video from the website, Wear Orange | National Gun Violence Awareness Day it's apparent that the couple narrating have lost a daughter.

And for that my heart goes out to them.

But what is always left out in the "ban the guns" drumbeat is the backstory of the culture of violence, drugs and breakdown of family units that have led big cities with the most restrictive gun laws to have the highest rates of shootings.

Take a look at theses statistics on shootings and homicides.

Most have had Democratic political rule for decades. Most have had high crime and racial unrest for just as long. They have been in charge for generations and still the violence rises higher and the meaningless marches continue.

I am TRULY sorry for the death of ANY innocent child but when the misguided (and they are truly misguided) look at legal gun owners and think that's the root of the problem, they will forever be ... lost.

Maybe if I went to Missoula, Montana's liberal city. It is also the one with the most violent crime. I wonder why I see that combination come together so often?

....pro gun apparel in public but I'm going to start. I DOUBT I'll see very many orange suited individuals here in SC.
